This candle comes with the proper votive holder! It is to be burned in a votive holder like the one picture above only! Or one almost the same size as the candle itself with no larger than 1/8 inch gap around the sides. If it is not burned in the proper sized votive holder it will burn to quickly and may make a larger than normal flame!
